Abyssinian Cat History :
The Abyssinian is a beautiful, exotic & mysterious-looking cat is thought to be the oldest known domestic breed, first brought to Britain by soldiers returning from Abyssinia (now Ethiopia) in 1868.

The Abyssinian Cats comes in a variety of colors and patterns. The solid cats are usual (ruddy). blue. sorrel (red). chocolate. fawn. lilac. red or cream. The tortoiseshell cats are usual. blue. chocolate. fawn. lilac. silver and variations of these colors. The United Kingdom and Europe recognizes the silver Abyssinian. but the United States does not.
Abyssinian Cat Character:
It's soft, sleek, glossy ticked coat comes in a variety of shades from Sorrel to Lilac, as do the Abyssinian's incredible, lined, almond shaped eyes which range in color from amber to green. The Abyssinian cat is a friendly, affectionate, intelligent and outgoing cat, capable of learning a variety of tricks. Abyssinians have a distinctive, bell-like voice. If you are looking for an excellent family pet, an Abyssinian kitten is a great choice.
